Meet Miss Halvorson

I am thrilled to be starting my 6th year teaching for the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District. I have taught both kindergarten and 1st grade in the past. I am very excited to be teaching first grade again this year. I received my k-5 teaching licensure from St. Olaf College in 2007. Last fall, I started my Master in Differentiated Instruction through Concordia Univerity in St. Paul. I will graduate with my masters this spring. I live in Shakopee where I bought a beautiful townhome 4 years ago. I truly have a passion for teaching and love laughing and learning with my students!
