1. First, next week we will start talking about the love of books. We are asking each parent to take a photo of their child reading in his/her favorite home reading spot. This can be again in their bedroom, a comfy chair, on the floor etc. I would like this photo to come to school no later than Thursday.
2. To help kick off reading, we will be talking about our “Forever Books.” These are books that have a special meaning to us and will stay in our memories forever. This book can be any of your child’s favorites and may even have a special story behind it. By Friday, September 6 please send in this special book. We will use the book some lessons and return it to you the following week. Please make sure the book is labeled with your child’s name so we are sure it gets back home safely!
3. The fruit request in the planners in for the Friendship Fruit Salad which is explained in a previous post.
